Pastor Appreciation Month

October is Pastor Appreciation Month and Sun., October 8, is Pastor Appreciation Sunday. A pastoral job is one of the toughest leadership roles, and our pastors were called to be at Bridges to teach, guide, and bless us and our community. Please take this month to consider a meaningful way to show any of our wonderful ministry leaders why you appreciate them all year round.

Here are some ideas:

– Invite your pastor to your home for a meal
– Give a simple gift
– Invite your pastor to a sporting event (or share your season tickets!)
– Ask how you can pray for him
– Treat a pastor’s wife
– Offer your cabin/vacation home for the weekend (or longer!)
– Write a personal thank you letter
– Offer your professional skills
– Sponsor a date night for your pastor and his wife
– Drop off a homemade dessert
