Look In

At the moment someone says yes to new life in Jesus Christ, they are adopted into God’s family. And from that point on life will never be the same – which could be a good thing or not, this side of heaven. It all depends.

The early church, as brothers and sisters in Christ, did family life really well. And people by the thousands wanted in on what they had.

This Sunday we will be looking into the family life the early church shared. The factors that made them magnetic in Jerusalem, if translated into our lives, could make us the same.

This Week: "Look Out"

Look around. What do you see? Do you see a field white and ready for harvest? Jesus did. Shouldn’t we see the same and then act on what we see?

When the first Christians started to see like Jesus saw, the impact in Jerusalem was huge. Everywhere they went they talked about Jesus. Soon their hometown was filled with the Gospel of hope. And thousands, having heard the good news, were saved.

Wouldn’t it be great if the same were to happen here in the Silicon Valley? It hasn’t happened yet, but it could. The chances of that happening are greatly increased if we have what the first followers did. And that is what our focus will be this coming Sunday.
