All it takes is a brief power failure to make us realize how much we benefit from an invisible resource called electricity. Electricity enables us to charge our electronic devices and even our cars. It cools and cooks our food. It can freeze water and make bread pop out of a toaster. And when it’s dark the lights come on, all because we have available to us an invisible power.

The invisible, available power we have in our homes is nothing compared to the exceedingly great power that all who follow Jesus have in their lives in the Person of the Holy Spirit. He is the invisible presence and power of God, and one of His chief roles is to empower ordinary believers to live supernatural lives. This week’s message will help us to get better acquainted with this powerful One who has been made available to us.
