Jo Ann Otto

Jo Ann started attending Bridges with her family in the mid 1960’s when it was known as the First
Baptist Church of Los Altos and located on Main Street.

She attended Biola University and graduated with a degree in Sociology. She then returned back to the Bay Area after graduation and became a member of the Singles Group at the church, where she met her husband, Wes. They were married at Bridges in 1989 and later became parents to twin sons, and are now grandparents to 4.

Jo Ann retired in 2020 after spending 14 years as a Library Assistant in a public middle school in Santa Clara. Prior to working as a Library Assistant, she spent a number of years working in Human Resources at various Silicon Valley companies.

In the past, Jo Ann has served at Bridges in various capacities, including Sunday School teacher, Nursery Coordinator, Wedding Coordinator, and Deaconess.
